Gis猫le Pelicot 'doesn't want to be an icon'
In the French city of Avignon, judges are preparing to hand down verdicts on 51 men involved in the mass rape trial that shook France.
For almost a decade, Gis猫le Pelicot was drugged by her ex-husband Dominique, who then invited dozens of men he had recruited online to have sex with her while she was unconscious.
Ahead of the verdict, Today's Emma Barnett speaks to Gis猫le's lawyer Stephane Babonneau, who says the 72-year-old never wanted to become "an icon or someone exceptional", but that she waived her anonymity to show other women "they can do it" too.
