Councillors in South Liverpool are raising alarms about a gang posing as tree surgeons to scam elderly residents out of thousands of pounds.

In one case, a man in his late 70s was conned out of over 拢12,000. Merseyside Police are appealing for information and advising the public to remember: "If in doubt, keep them out."
