The government says it'll make it tougher to buy knives online, in the wake of the Southport attack. It鈥檚 already illegal to buy them if you鈥檙e under 18, but Axel Rudakabana bought one from Amazon when he was 17. The government's proposing submitting two forms of age ID plus recording a video pricing your age before you can buy a knife online, but will it work. Amazon has said it takes its "responsibility around the sale of all age-restricted items - including bladed products - extremely seriously"
