Dorchester landmark closed for a year
It's arguably Dorchester's most striking landmark.
Sitting at the top of town and looking rather like a castle. The Keep Museum was built in 1879 and was the barracks for Dorset's army regiments until 1958.
Since then it's been home to an ever growing collection of stories and artifacts as well as a spectacular view from it's roof.
But now that view won't be seen for at least this year - because a safety issue's been found that is going to need a lot of work - meaning the museum will be closed for the rest of 2025.
