Whose responsibility is it to look after your kids' teeth?

In the last recorded figures, almost 50 thousand under 19s had teeth extracted, and two thirds of those were down to decay.

In fact, tooth decay, is the most common reason for hospital admissions for in primary school children. So it's no wonder some dentists are calling it a national crisis.

So with such a big problem, and a costly one for the NHS, how we do tackle it? Anna Tyler investigates.
