Marie Curie to cease work in Dorset
Marie Curie says it's been given notice by the Dorset Integrated Care Board that it's contract to provide end of life care in people's homes during the day and overnight will end on 31st March.
NHS Dorset says it's recently reviewed commissioning for people requiring care under the NHS and that some current providers including Marie Curie had chosen not to take part in the new arrangement.
Radio Solent's Steve Harris spoke to Karen Burfitt, Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships and Services at Marie Curie South West.
