‘Eventually these stigmas won’t exist’

One man's crusade to help people with dementia has seen dozens inspired in his hometown, thanks to a special workshop, aimed at educating people on the signs of dementia.

Rick Deller's lives were turned upside down, when his dad was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 65. The councillor's mission was to invite the likes of cafes, shops, charities, restaurants, volunteers - anyone who works in a public setting - to attend special seminars, helping them to spot the signs of people with dementia and how to behave around them.

Tom Edwards reports from the first of what will be many workshops, in Droitwich.
