'We're preventing clothing ending up in landfill'

Sustainable Fashion is increasing in popularity. It's a kick-back against fast-fashion which, according to UN research on climate change is responsible for 8-10% of global emissions.

This weekend a pop-up 2nd-hand clothing event called 'Worth the Weight' is coming to Leicester's De Montfort University.

With as much as 92 million tonnes of clothing ending up in landfills each year, organisers say that many of us are turning to making more sustainable choices when it comes to our clothes.

Organiser Ollie Daly-Smith spoke to 大象传媒 Leicester's Kelly Hinch.
