Budget gap could mean 200 fewer police officers
The chief constable of Lincolnshire Police, Paul Gibson says the force could have to cut 200 officers by 2028 to cover a 拢14m budget shortfall.
The force said that it was looking to reduce officer numbers to 1,000 following the government's latest funding settlement for policing.
It will also cancel its upcoming police officer intake in March.
