Explore almost every detail of the 750-year-old medieval map, the largest of its kind still standing. Discover its intricate detailed images of over 500 then known towns and cities, from Paris to Athens, to the rivers Severn and Wye, Hereford, Clee Hill and beyond.

Dominic Harbour, then-curator at Hereford Cathedral, shows Andrew Marston the secrets of this piece of art, which has survived to this day, including pilgrim and trade routes around the then known world, as very much a representation of known (and unknown) lands of the time.

Hear how the map defies the thinking that medieval scholars thought the world was flat, as well as how the map is kept safe for the future, and who its original author might just have been all those years ago.
