Former Kirklevington inmates 'forgotten' after abuse
Former inmates who say they suffered horrendous abuse at former detention centre say they feel they’ve been ‘’forgotten, ignored and frozen out.’’
818 men have now come forward to say they were abused at Kirklevington detention centre, near Yarm, from the 1960s to 1990s Â
But 11 years after the police investigation was launched, former inmates claim little progress has been made.
Cleveland Police though says it's working tirelessly to bring offenders to justice.
Stuart Whincup reports.
