For the next three weeks, Leicester will come alive with laughter.

The city's annual comedy festival gets underway today with more than 720 shows set to take place at 80 venues across the county.

Darren Walsh is a comedian who won the first ever pun championships in Leicester - he's also performing on the first day of this year's festival.

Darren spoke to 大象传媒 Leicester's Ady Dayman.
