Weather presenter Sara Blizzard has had a new weather station dedicated to her as she departs the 大象传媒 after more than two decades.

Sara Blizzard, who joined the 大象传媒 in 1999, announced she was leaving in January, and will mark her last day at East Midlands Today on Friday.

Blizzard, who's also a familiar voice to listeners of 大象传媒 local radio, grew up in Coventry and her first taste of broadcasting came at the Walsgrave General's hospital radio.

People across the East Midlands have been wishing her the best of luck, and Sara's weather colleagues surprised her with a plaque presentation for The Sara Blizzard Weather Station.
