'I owe my life to my mates and a defibrillator'
A Leicestershire man who had a cardiac arrest playing football at his local club says his life was saved by the use of a defibrillator provided by Premier League funding.
Dave Orton collapsed during a walking football match at Saffron Dynamo FC in October 2024 and his team mates used the life-saving device to restart his heart. The defibrillator was one of 2,000 paid for by the League and installed at clubs across the country.
Leicester City FC legend Wes Morgan was at the club to meet Dave and talk about the 'More than a Game' defibrillator fund. 大象传媒 Leicester reporter Russell Hobbs was there.
