Local Womble Sam Laywood has scooped the 'Keep Britain Tidy' leading litter hero award.

It's part of his journey protecting our wildlife and environment.

Sam caught the judges attention after his marathon run last year, raising money while picking litter.

He told Ben Jackson his story.
