‘We have to video every trail hunt we lay’
Rags are soaked in fox urine, imported from America, at the Ledbury Hunt. Go behind the scenes at preparations for their trail hunts, which remain a bitterly disputed topic in the countryside.
The fox-hunting ban came in to force on 18 February, 2004. Twenty years on, Tom Edwards finds out how the highly-emotive debate continues, amidst locals who have been taking part in hunts for decades, and hears what they have to say about accusations that hunts can go wrong, with dogs harming animals.
