What happens to cars once they鈥檝e been stolen?
A car is stolen roughly eight minutes in the UK, with vehicles ending up cloned in chop shops and even being smuggled out of the country. Gordon Smart joins the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service as they intercept shipping containers full of stolen cars destined for foreign countries. We put popular wheel locks to the test and investigate exactly what happens to a car once it's been taken. We join the specialist unit responsible for tracking down stolen vehicles from across the UK as they intercept multiple storage units filled with illegal parts.
