Theft leaves rescuers out of action 'for weeks'
Hundreds of pounds worth of specialist equipment has been stolen from two mountain rescue vehicles in Middlesbrough over the weekend.
Volunteers from Newcastle and North Wales were visiting the area to train with members of Cleveland Mountain Rescue
But when they returned to their vehicles they discovered they had been broken in to, kit had been taken and thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused.
Tim Wood, leader of the Cleveland Mountain Rescue team spoke to Amy Oakden.
