Essex has come second in a new study which looks at the UK's most congested areas for traffic.

The research added up the number of traffic miles, licensed vehicles, and the annual average daily flow of traffic in 2023.

The top ten places also included Birmingham, Surrey and Kent - but how many miles of traffic do Essex drivers sit in and where are the hotspots?
