'I was in a really dark place'
An RAF veteran from Leicester wants to breathe life into an allotment aiming to help other ex forces veterans with their mental health.
Mark Eyres, who has struggled himself ever since he left the RAF in 1997, started the gardening project at Boston Road Allotments in Beaumont Leys in 2022.
Mark has been telling 大象传媒 Leicester's Ady Dayman that he wants to create a space where veterans can be part of a team and talk.
