Young help Met to overhaul stop & search - but will it work?
The Metropolitan Police have published a new charter that sets out how stop and search should be conducted going forward.
Young people were invited to New Scotland Yard to help the Met launch this new set of commitments. It includes commitments around the communication and tone that officers use when carrying out stop and search, improved training and supervision, and better handling of complaints.
