A new transitional government is meant to take power in Syria at the beginning of March. It will be a key step in Syria鈥檚 post-Assad transition, which has - so far - been smoother than expected.
Another milestone was when hundreds of Syrians gathered in Damascus for a long-delayed national dialogue conference.
Hind Kabawat was one of seven members of the preparatory committee, and the only member from Syria's minority communities. Newshour's Paul Henley asked her why, despite the conference being much trailed and postponed repeatedly, the invitations were only sent out the day before it began?
