Breast cancer ‘shifted my perspective’ on tennis

Grand Slam doubles champions Gaby Dabrowski overcame breast cancer in the last 12 months, but how has going through that changed her outlook on life?

The 32-year-old Canadian, who is a three-time major champion, was diagnosed in April 2024, but after two surgeries and a three-month break from the WTA Tour, she returned to win the Nottingham grass-court title alongside New Zealand's Erin Routliffe in her first tournament back.

She told Sportshour's Shabnam Younus-Jewell about the process of her recovery.
