I was born in Lillehammer and studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music and at the Opera Academy in Copenhagen.

In 2011, I reached the final of the Belvedere competition and won second prize in the Queen Sonja International Singing Competition.

In 2010, I made my Royal Danish Opera debut as Margret Wozzeck and at Norwegian National Opera as Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro. I sang Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia and Costanza L'isola disabitata at Norwegian National Opera, Solveig Peer Gynt at the Peer Gynt Festival.

My engagements in 2013 included Nicklausse Les contes d’Hoffmann, Lola Cavalleria rusticana at Norwegian National Opera and Volve in the world premiere of Ragnar Söderlind's The voice from Mímisbrunnr. 2014 included Cherubino at the Metropolitan Opera, Zerlina Don Giovanni at Norwegian National Opera, Mozart's C minor Mass with Orchestre de chambre de Paris and Sir Roger Norrington, Haydn's Stabat Mater in Oslo with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra and Mendelssohn's Symphony No 2 - Lobgesang with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra.

I’m looking forward to performances as Flower maiden Parsifal in Birmingham and Bayreuth; Cherubino in Zürich, Vienna and Oslo; a recital in Antwerp; and Bach and Mozart concert works.

I enjoy knitting, sewing, skiing, biking and hiking. And I’m very good at assembling flat pack furniture!
