Foot surgeon – Mr Kartik Hariharan
Mr Kartik Hariharan is one of the country’s leading foot and ankle surgeons.
Called Hari by his friends and patients, he has been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon for 20 years. His practice is based at the Royal Gwent hospital in Newport, South Wales. Mr Hariharan has a variety of interests including the developmental anatomy and anthropological features of the foot.
He has lectured internationally on a wide variety of topics and continues to train young orthopaedic trainees in foot and ankle surgery.
In 2011-12, Mr Hariharan was the President of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
