Jessie is the lead singer with the Louis Lester band, singing with her best friend Carla who she has known since school. Jessie is very sweet and demure and likes to keep herself to herself, giving her a mysterious allure, irresistible even to the Prince of Wales and Prince George.
She is very private about her childhood: she was raised single-handedly by her mother, a singer in the old music halls. Her confidence grows as her stunning looks and incredible talent take her far and she becomes a singing sensation.
