She's able to tell fortunes, see signs and portents in nature and commune with ghosts. Queenie Turrill lives with her husband next door to the End House.
Linda Bassett
With no formal acting training, Linda worked as an usher at the Old Vic theatre. She performed with a local drama group in London before her professional debut in 1982. Linda joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1991. Although mainly known as a stage performer, Linda gained wider notoriety appearing in the films East is East and Calendar Girls.
