Robbie Jackson
Loveable road sweeper Robbie Jackson was a bit of a failure. He was the butt of all jokes in the Square, never to be seen without his soulmate, trusty mutt Wellard.

In spite of being the Square's whipping boy, Robbie was loyal, with a heart of gold - protective of his mum and sisters Bianca and Sonia and little brother Billie. When step-dad Alan ran off with singer Frankie, he tried his best to be man of the house. Though his best efforts generally ended in disaster.
Aside from Wellard's unremitting love and sloppy kisses, Robbie's lovelife was fairly thin-on-the-ground. He fell in love with Sarah Hills and slept with her, but her father accused him of forcing himself on her. His brief engagement to Kerry Skinner ended when she cheated on him. Robbie finally found happiness with widow Nita. They left for a happier life in India together, but Robbie couldn't stay away from Albert Square forever.
