Becoming a contributor at Forbes. As someone from a small town in Northern Ireland, I am incredibly proud of having a space on a platform as large as that.
Random fact?
I am a huge fan and slightly obsessed with my dog - so much so he was our ringbearer in our wedding a few years ago and went viral - he ended up on prime time news in the US!
Technology needs all voices, inputs and opinions to ensure we are forming well-rounded solutions for all of society - women and young girls play a huge role in that.

Born in Sri Lanka, Sheree was adopted at three weeks old and raised in County Tyrone. Now a technical business consultant based in London, she has inspired thousands as UK Expansion Director for Women Who Code, a non-profit organisation which helps to tackle the gender gap in the STEM industry worldwide.

Sheree is listed as one of the UK's Most Influential Women in Tech as well as an international multi-award winner for her services to diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

The primary aim of Sheree's career is ensuring people are aware of the fantastic opportunities the tech industry has to offer and ensure that people - regardless of gender, race or social background - are able to benefit from these and reach their full career potential. Sheree is passionate about educating younger generations on the prospective careers in STEM subjects.

Sheree has also founded the organisation I Am Lanka, which showcases global movers and shakers who are from or have grown up in Sri Lanka, and is a regular contributor to Forbes magazine.
