Mike is a former English rugby player. He has captained the England team and was a member of the 2003 World Cup winning squad. He retired from rugby in 2014 and is now a pundit.

He is a huge darts fan and regularly watches and attends darting events. Mike and his England Rugby teammates would always take a dartboard with them on tour and have it up in their dressing room.

As a darts player, Mike rates himself as having “potential”. He describes his darting technique as “methodical” and “quite slow”. He says he is a “thinker” whilst up at the oche.

His greatest fear when up at the Lakeside oche is that he may miss the dartboard.

If Mike wins the Let’s Play Darts For Sport Relief Trophy it will take pride of place in his house and will be displayed alongside his World Cup winning medal.

Scott is the 2015 Men’s BDO World Champion and current England captain. He was our celebrity coach and mentor in series one of Let’s Play Darts.

He won his first ever BDO World Championship at Lakeside in January 2015. He defeated Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams in a thrilling 7-6 final, scooping the £100,000 prize.

He was Johnny Depp’s darts double on the set of London Fields. He also played darts with Billy-Bob Thornton on the set of the same film.

As well as being a pro darts player, Scott works as a freelance landscape gardener.
