A bright, young and ambitious girl from Peebles.
Many things have changed for Denise since she arrived at the door of The Paradise over a year ago. However two things remain true - her devotion to her work and her love of Moray. The anticipated reunion brings an end to a year of rumours and longing, but problems soon arise. Unable to curtail her natural vivacity at work, Denise finds herself fighting the conventions of conservative Tollgate Street. Can she find a way to fulfil her potential whilst battling circumstances which seem certain to tear her away from Moray?
