Being Mrs Ian Beale is a dirty job, but somebody has to do it. Laura came into the household as a nanny, and left in disgrace - judged harshly for conceiving what she believed was Garry's child.

Ian treated her like a domestic appliance that would cook, clean, and look after the children. Oh, the romance. Dignity was never Laura's strong suit, even in death. Sadly, there was no triumphant exit for Laura. She tripped on a child's toy and fell down the stairs.
