One more thing, anyone sees me with a cigarette in my mouth, grab it and stub it out in my eye...Ange Godard
Come up against Ange at your peril, she’s as stubborn and tenacious as they come and will never back down from a fight – she learned that the hard way. With Ange, what you see is what you get –loud, funny and ballsy as hell. She can’t abide a goody-two shoes and she’ll put patient over policy every single time – a method that’s not ingratiated her with many bosses. Her no-nonsense approach can appear severe to colleagues but there’s no hiding her huge capacity for empathy and it’s what makes her patients, particularly teenagers, adore her. Brought up by her hard-grafting parents in the working class tenements of Glasgow, Ange was told (and believed) that she could be anything she liked if she worked hard enough. Ange knuckled down, determined to achieve her dream of becoming a doctor.
