Sivani comes from London, where she began Bharathanatyam classes with Usha Raghavan at the age of six. Her interest in Indian classical dance and music stems from her mother, who teaches the Veena.

Over the past 12 years Sivani has danced in numerous productions and festivals as a part of a group, and is now hoping to perform more as a soloist.

Sivani is currently in her first year of a Civil Engineering degree at the University of Bristol.
