Also in the programme, the European Commission has unveiled plans for a new digital services tax, which aims to ensure technology giants pay tax on revenues where they are made, rather than being repatriated to low-tax jurisdictions. Alex Cobham is chief executive of the Tax Justice Network, and offers us his assessment of the proposals. Plus we find out about a new free trade agreement that has just been signed, to remove tariffs on 90% of goods in 44 African countries.
