Sri Lanka's unfolding political crisis threatens to turn into a "bloodbath" unless order is restored, the speaker of parliament has warned. Also, the man now charged with carrying out the shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, in which 11 people died, is known to have posted regularly on Gab, a website known as a hub for alt-right and extremist views. Gab has now been forced online after companies that provided its domain and payment services blocked it.
