New York group asks Amazon to reconsider campus plan

New York business and political leaders have asked Amazon to give an NY campus another chance

A group of New York business, political and community leaders have asked Amazon to reconsider its decision to scrap plans for a new campus in the city. The 大象传媒's Michelle Fleury has the story from New York.

After that, Iranian users of Apple's IOS mobile operating system have lost access to applications made in Iran, depriving them of the local equivalents of Uber and Deliveroo, as well as banking services. Janet Yellen was until recently the Chair of the US Federal Reserve. During her tenure, she was not known for her long-windedness. This week, Kai Ryssdal of Marketplace on American Public Media sat down with Mrs. Yellen to get her view on the progress of the American economy since the financial crash.

Pakistan produces 20 million tons of rubbish each year, with abut half of that uncollected. The charity Tearfund is involved in efforts to come up with solutions to this build-up, and their country representative Ashraf Mall joins the programme to describe them.
