France: Three-Month Strike Brings Rail Chaos
Commuters face months of disruption as strikes challenging labour reforms begin.
It's been dubbed 'Black Tuesday', but for the next three months, two out of every five days will see strike action by French unions, protesting against a range of labour reforms. The railways have been heavily disrupted, with energy and waste collection sectors affected too. We sample the key voices in the debate - commuters, unions and the government - then speak to Rubin Sfadj, a Paris-based lawyer and a member of the liberal think-tank Generation Libre.
