Facebook Chief to Face Congress

Mark Zuckerberg prepares to testify before US congress following the data sharing crisis.

As Mark Zuckerberg prepares to testify before U.S. congress following the data-sharing crisis, we take a look at what to expect on Capitol Hill. The Facebook boss is expected to strike a conciliatory tone in his testimony before 44 senators on the U.S. Senate's Commerce and Judiciary committees. Facebook's co-founder Chris Hughes tells us he thinks there are urgent issues that need to be answered. Volkswagen is expected to make big changes at the top and investors have already reacted, with shares jumping on the news. David Bailey - professor of industry from Aston Business School - looks at how the company could revive its fortunes following the emissions cheating scandal. Chinese President Xi Jinping has warned against a 'Cold War mentality' during a speech at 'Asia's Davos', officially known as the Boao Forum for Asia. Sherry Madera, a special adviser for Asia from the City of London Corporation, gives us her reaction to the speech. Plus, we hear about the British supermarket that is abolishing all products containing palm oil. And British pop star Jessie J is currently riding a wave of fame in China, as a contestant on a reality TV music competition. Now, representatives from the British music industry have launched a Chinese trade mission, hoping to promote other acts there too. We ask Jake Newby, managing editor at Shanghai based culture website radiichina.com, whether they will be able to capitalise on Jessie J's success.
