Tension mounts in Venezuela
Violence has erupted as anti-Maduro protestors take to the streets of the capital Caracas.
Katiana Cardona, a photojournalist in Caracas, brings us the latest after opposition leader Juan Guaido called on the military to help end President Maduro’s rule. Plus, we speak to Connie Guglielmo, editor in chief of tech website CNET, as Apple publishes its earnings for the January-March quarter. Sales of the tech giant’s iconic Iphone have fallen more sharply than ever – so what does this mean for the future of the company? And we travel to India to meet the women who created their own feminine hygiene product industry in the slums of Mumbai.
Roger Hearing is joined throughout the programme by Amy Goldsmith, the director of Clean Water Action NJ in Philadelphia, and independent Chinese economist Andy Xie in Hong Kong.
