Oil prices slide after Opec deal collapses

Major producers could not agree on a deal to cut output, a plan aimed at steadying prices

As the oil producers' cartel Opec tries to agree a cut in output to stave off falling prices, Dr. Sara Vakhshouri, president of SVB Energy International in Washington, considers the implications.
