Sudanese call for handover to civilian power

Thousands are taking part in a sit-in outside Sudan's army headquarters, just days after President al-Bashir was deposed.

The transitional military council in Sudan has said it is ready to work with opposition groups, but demonstrators want an immediate transition to civilian rule.
