Sudan crisis: African Union membership suspended

Sudan has seen its most violent week since the ousting of President Omar al-Bashir in April.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, is expected in Sudan today to mediate between the country's military rulers and the opposition protest movement; the British prime minister, Theresa May, will officially step down as the leader of the Conservative Party on Friday, but will remain as prime minister until her successor is chosen; and why America is flexing its military muscle especially towards Iran.
