Hong Kong's chief executive Carrie Lam has vowed to restore law and order, as a strike called by pro-democracy activists causes widespread disruption.

After hundreds were arrested this week-end in Moscow for taking part in an unauthorised rally, we get an update on how many are still in detention

We go to Nigeria where tension is running high over a protest planned for today by opposition activists.
