Share prices in Asia have plunged again as fear over the coronavirus pandemic grips global financial markets.

The president of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara, has named a close ally as the ruling party's candidate to succeed him. President Ouattara announced last week that he would not seek re-election in October's presidential election.
