Former Congo rebel leader given 30 years
The International Criminal Court has sentenced Bosco Ntaganda, to 30 years in prison.
The International Criminal Court in the Hague has sentenced the former Congolese warlord, Bosco Ntaganda, to 30 years in prison. Ntaganda was found guilty on eighteen counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes back in July this year.
Also in the programme: Parties who want to keep the UK in the European Union have formed an electoral alliance; and New Zealand announces a plan to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2050.
