Twitter locks staff out of offices

The hashtag "RIPTwitter" has been trending after the company closed offices until next week

Twitter has told employees that the company's office buildings will be temporarily closed, with immediate effect. It did not give a reason for the move. It came as reports said many staff were leaving Twitter after Elon Musk's ultimatum that they commit to working long hours at high intensity or take a severance package.
