Iran has declared five days of mourning after President Ebrahim Raisi was killed in a helicopter crash.
President Ebrahim Raisi was killed on Sunday when the helicopter he was travelling on came down near the border with Azerbaijan. Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was also killed in the crash, along with six others. A successor will be elected within 50 days.
