Push for slavery reparations conversation

Commonwealth heads of government want to examine reparatory justice for slave trade.

The 大象传媒 has learnt that Commonwealth heads of government are preparing to defy the United Kingdom and agree plans to examine reparatory justice for the transatlantic slave trade. Downing Street insists the issue is not on the agenda for the summit of 56 Commonwealth countries, which begins in the Pacific island nation of Samoa on Friday. We get reaction from people in Commonwealth countries and speak to our UK political correspondent.

Turkey says its air force has killed nearly sixty PKK fighters in Syria and Iraq. The government was responding to what it called a terror attack in Ankara which it blames on the Kurdish group. We get more details from our reporter from 大象传媒 Turkish.
