On-Air Diabetes Attack Does Not Stop the Newsroom

The Newsroom presenter, Alex Ritson responds to a listener who is impressed with how he handled an on-air diabetes attack.

Recently while presenting The Newsroom, presenter, Alex Ritson, who has type one diabetes, had his first on-air hypoglycaemic attack. It caused him to become confused and his speech slurred. Eventually his colleague, Neil Nunes stepped in to take over. Alex decided to explain to listeners that he had had a low blood sugar attack due to his condition. Listener, Andy Boddington from the UK congratulates the presenter for his bravery while Alex explains a bit more about what happened.
